Skin care tips as we head into the warmer months
We have bid goodbye to three months of 2021 and are already into April. As things are beginning to heat up, both in terms of the weather and our social calendars with lockdown restrictions easing a bit, we thought of giving you some simple tips to keep your skin healthy and looking its best.
- Make skin hydration a priority. As the skin tends to dry up more during the warmer months, drinking plenty of water is essential to keep the skin soft, supple, and hydrated. Complement it with fresh fruits and vegetables and their juices. The vitamins and minerals they contain will improve the condition of your skin.
- Always wash your face with a gentle cleanser or face-wash before you hit the sack at night. Otherwise, your makeup and the accumulated dust, dirt, and sweat will clog your pores, leading to breakouts.
- Use a facial mask or exfoliant that is suitable for your skin type once or twice a week. It will remove dead cells and bring out the youthful glow and radiance.
