Spring into your Skincare Routine
With spring around the corner, it’s time to put away your heavy coats and slowly start dusting out your lighter spring and summer wear including your skincare routine. A key step is hydrating your skin. Winter skin can be dull, flaky, and dry. As you head into the warmer months, you will also start getting ready to show off more of your skin. A lighter moisturizer is needed for the warmer months as there is more moisture in the air. If you are unhappy with at-home treatments you can speak to Dr. Lloyd about her lasers and other customized skin treatments that will kickstart your skin’s glow.
While it is important to wear sunscreen all-year-round, it is a step that you specifically cannot skip on during the spring and summer. Look for a sunscreen that is suited to your skin type and also one with a SPF of at least 30.
