What to expect from treatment

The number of injections you get will vary depending on your skin condition, and the process typically takes less than an hour.While you will notice some initial results, it can take 2-3 weeks for the dermal filler to soften in your skin. You may experience some tenderness, swelling, or red skin within the first 24 hours of treatment, and you should avoid sun exposure, exercise, and alcohol until the next day. Dr. Amanda Lloyd is a respected Board Certified Dermatologist based in Encinitas, CA, with over 14 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from UCLA Honors College and a medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine.
