Fall into your skincare routine
The skin is generally a good indicator that the Fall season is upon us. Dry and itchy skin that feels tight and irritated is a sign that we are heading into the colder months, leaving the warm Summer season behind.

But if you consider Fall a good time to prepare for the colder Winter months while repairing Summer skin damage, your skin will thank you profusely.
Here are some tips to keep your skin healthy and nourished:
- Switch to a more hydrating moisturizer. As humidity drops during the colder months, our skin gets dry and tight. Your regular moisturizer may not be enough during this time. So, it is wiser to use thicker, more hydrating cleansers and face creams.
- Don’t bathe or shower in hot water, which can dry the skin, making it red, itchy, and cracked. Use lukewarm water instead with a mild soap or cleanser and moisturize immediately afterward.
- Dress appropriately. Long sleeves, gloves, scarves, and hats will protect your skin. Don’t forget the sunscreen, which is a must every day of the year.
- Treat yourself to a laser treatment to wipe away the summer damage and get that healthy glow you can enjoy for the holidays.
