What is Laser Genesis?
The Laser Genesis is a long-pulsed Nd:YAG 1064 nanometer wavelength laser, which selectively targets water to stimulate your body to make its own collagen with no downtime.
Where can the Laser Genesis be used?
The Laser Genesis can be used anywhere you want to build collagen. Most commonly, it’s used on the face, neck, chest, and backs of the hands.
How does Laser Genesis work?
The Laser Genesis works by selectively targeting water which results in bulk heating of the lower half of the skin this stimulates your body to produce its own natural collagen, which provides support and structure to your skin. This is something we want to do, because it gets rid of those fine lines and wrinkles, and improves the tone and texture of the skin.
Are you a candidate for Laser Genesis?
Anyone looking to improve the tone and texture of their skin, decrease the pore size, and get rid of those fine lines and wrinkles is an excellent candidate for the Laser Genesis.
What happens on my treatment day?
On your treatment day, you will arrive at the Skin & Vein Institute and after check-in, we will bring you back to the numbing room this is where you will have numbing cream applied to your skin, and you will sit and relax for about 45 minutes. You will then be brought to the treatment room where you’ll be treated with the Laser Genesis. This feels like a warm sensation on the skin and then the treatment is over. It is virtually painless. And the best part is – there is no downtime.
What are the post care instructions after a Laser Genesis treatment?
After your laser genesis treatment, your skin will be pink for about 30 minutes. It is important to wear your broad spectrum sunscreen, which is an SPF of at least 30, every day to protect your skin from the sun.
Is Laser Genesis safe and effective?
Laser Genesis is both safe and effective. If you are looking to improve the tone and texture of your skin, decrease your pores and get rid of some of those fine lines and wrinkles, the Laser Genesis is the laser for you.
